A study on the characteristics of environmental factor in Yudeung stream

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study is to provide the information that need to water quality prediction on stern flow. Among many environmental factor which the DO and BOD concentration in natural stream, Overall Oxygen-transfer coefficient( KLa) and Deoxygenation rate coefficient(Ki) have been the most important ones.
The procedure more commonly used for determination of (KLa) is the unsteady state aeration of tap water. Several method for caculating parameter Ki and Lo(concentration of organis present at time zero) have been used. The results showed that Thomas´s graphical method were satisfied with the BOD parameter estimation in Yu Deung stream.
